Blunden recently completed service in the Royal Navy, during which he attained the rank of Commodore. He held a number of commands during his naval career including a multinational task force combatting piracy and terrorism in the Indian Ocean and the Fleet Flagship HMS Bulwark and he was the last Navigating Commander of The Royal Yacht Britannia.
Headmaster Ian Davies said: “We look forward to welcoming Jeremy to the Brentwood community and to the experience and enthusiasm he will bring to the role of bursar.”
