The trustees of Our Lady’s Prep and Nursery School in Crowthorne, Berkshire, have announced the appointment of Michael Stone as headmaster. He will assume the role in August 2019, following the retirement of Helene Robinson.
Prior to his appointment, Stone spent four years as principal and headmaster of Hawley Place School, Blackwater. He previously worked in a variety of senior leadership positions in the South East, as well as providing assistance to a range of schools as an educational consultant.
“It is a great privilege to lead such a vibrant community at Our Lady’s Prep and Nursery”, said Stone. “It is clear that the school delivers an outstanding educational provision, and I am certainly looking forward to building on the excellent work of Mrs Robinson and moving the school forward to even greater achievements. Our Lady’s is founded upon fundamental values, excellent pastoral care and a commitment to academic challenge. I am proud to lead the school in the next stage of its development.”
