Veale Wasbrough Vizards (VWV) has been reappointed to Crescent Purchasing Consortium’s (CPC) national legal services framework agreement, to provide legal services to organisations across the entire public sector in London, the East Midlands and the North West regions.
The appointment covers the whole range of legal services and specifically covers property, human resources, academy conversion and a full range of cost effective legal services. The appointment is for three years.
The agreement is let of behalf of the CPC members and members of the North East Universities Purchasing Consortium. CPC has a membership of 2582 further education institutions and academies who are eligible to procure and instruct under the framework.
The framework is also open for use by other public sector contracting authorities or their agents. These include central government departments and their agencies, Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs), NHS bodies (including; acute trusts, ambulance trusts, primary care trusts, care trusts, NHS hospital trusts, strategic health authorities, mental health trusts, special health authorities), Local Authorities, Police Authorities, Emergency Services, Educational Establishment (including Schools, Universities, Academies, Colleges of Further Education) and Registered Social Landlords.
The tender process launched in the Autumn 2013 culminating in 22 firms being appointed to the framework. VWV is one of only six firms to have been appointed to three or more regions.

VWV acts for over 1000 education institutions, from nurseries through to colleges and universities. The firm’s public sector experience spans some 25 years with experts in public sector property, planning, governance, standards, prudential borrowing and investment powers, employee issues/TUPE, pensions and tax. There is also a dedicated EU procurement and state aid team.
