As the biggest fair outside of London and with places being offered free of charge, over 200 students from 50 schools across the South West attended Taunton’s annual university fair, where they were introduced to a variety of international opportunities.
Headmaster, Dr John Newton, said: ‘The quality of Taunton School’s preparation of young people for the next stage of their lives is second to none.
‘The North American Universities Fair is yet more evidence of this. We were delighted to welcome many guests to the school and indeed already welcome many new pupils to the school because of both the quality of our educational provision, and our advice and support for university entry.’
New at the fair this year was a range of talks covering how to apply, how to choose a university and the prestigious Sutton Trust USA programme for those who qualify for full financial aid.
