Frog unveils primary school partners

Frog Education has launched a range of new partnerships that will provide more support for primary school teachers

FrogLearn acts as an online hub for the whole school community, bringing together all the school’s software into one central place for stress free teaching.

FrogLearn provides single sign-on (SSO) capability, allowing pupils and teachers to access different software without the need to remember a large number of passwords. This is particularly valuable at primary school level, not only for the young pupils, but also for the teachers who have to cover a large number of different subject areas and materials.

Reducing the number of log-ins required gives Frog the opportunity to develop a wide range of new partnerships, while maintaining ease of use for pupils and teachers. The integration of world class software partners provides primary schools with simple-to-use, cutting-edge tools to enrich the teaching and learning experience.

The new partners greatly increase the variety of resources available on Frog. These include Britannica, which provides access to a wealth of trusted information, Education City, a leading provider in cross-curriculum interactive learning resources, and Discovery Education, owners of Espresso Education, the video-rich, cross-curricular service that has won multiple awards.

Other tools focus on developing skills in particular subject areas, such as Bamzonia – a personal finance education tool, which supports the requirement in the KS2 curriculum to address some personal finance concepts, and Elesapiens, a provider of high quality project-based resources on a specific science topic, firstestablished in Spain.

There are also a number of creativity tools that develop reading, writing and story composition skills among primary school pupils, such as Night Zookeeper, and Purple Mash, created by 2Simple.

Finally, there are tools that support school leaders and parents, such as Kodo Education, which provides e-safety support tools and guidance, and School Explained, which allows parents to get information about a primary school’s approach to learning.

The new tools further add to Frog’s unique offer to primary schools and builds on the success of recent tools and services launched by Frog specifically for the primary market. FrogSnap revolutionises evidence capture. Teachers and students instantly ‘capture the moment’ on their mobile device and directly upload it into a safe learning environment.

FrogSnap unleashes student creativity, whether it’s on a school trip, a homework project or simply as examples of ‘what good looks like’ across your school. The live activity timeline instantly engages parents in their child’s learning and acts as a virtual memory box of student progress which can be quickly shared with teachers, students and parents.

Kate Lewis, Commercial Director of Frog Education, said: “Frog Education is growing rapidly in the primary market. We have worked closely with primary school teachers to fully understand what they want from a learning platform, as well as the types of applications and content they value.

“We are proud to support partners who share our commitment to outstanding learning principles. By keeping the learner at the heart of our partnerships, we can create an environment to support a personalised learning journey for every primary school pupil in the UK.”
