The King’s School, Canterbury has released plans for a new international school in China.
The new school – The King’s School Shenzhen International – is located in Nanshan district and offers pupils aged two to 18 a combined Chinese-British curriculum.
The kindergarten is due to open in late 2019 along with accommodation for teachers. The remaining second phase of the school will be completed in 2020.

The new campus is designed to reflect the architecture and traditions of its sister school in Canterbury Cathedral and incorporates a number of landscaped courtyards.
The pre-prep school will include large classrooms, breakout areas, maker spaces and a large library.
The senior school will include several unique learning spaces including a flight simulator, robotics laboratory, black box theatre and meditation rooms.
