ACS Hillingdon International School is celebrating a new multi-million pound development project, which will include a modern Science Centre as well as a new library and technology facilities. Construction is already underway, with the developments allowing the school to expand the education opportunities on offer. The new facilities include three new science and technology laboratories as well as a designated micro-biology unit.

The Head of Science at the West London School has said of the developments;

“ACS Hillingdon prides itself on providing a stimulating, dynamic and forward-thinking learning environment. The new science facilities will enable and inspire curious minds to delve deeper, and provide students with the best preparation for university and highly successful careers in science.”

The School welcomed a new Head this academic year, Diane Hren, who has worked within ACS International Schools for over 10 years. Diane moved to ACS Hillingdon from her role as Head of Programmes at ACS, and has also been Deputy Head of School at sister campus ACS Cobham in Surrey and more recently, Head of School at ACS Doha International School in Qatar.  She commented:

“As a longstanding member of the ACS community, I am thrilled to be joining ACS Hillingdon as Head of School at this exciting time. Investing in our education offering will enable us to continue to deliver a first class international education – something for which the school is renowned. We are very much looking forward to the enhanced and enriching opportunities that we will be able to provide for current and future students to lead the way in science.”

“Our upcoming open mornings in October will also be a fantastic opportunity to meet with families and prospective students, and share with them our vision for the school.”

 The Science Centre will be completed next year.
