The education-business partnership School Dynamics has been appointed by Camden Council to deliver essential Life Skills training to students from schools across the Camden area.
The “Seriously Cool Life Skills” workshops are designed to help prepare young people for the transition from school to the challenges of life outside, introducing key life skills including teamworking, time management, preparing CVs, understanding money and basic finance, maximising social media, listening and learning, presentations and interview techniques.
The School Dynamics team of educationalists and business experts also delivers Institute of Leadership of Management (ILM) team skills and leadership training, with an ILM Level 2 Award programme now into its third year for Heathfield School in Pinner and delivered for the first time for South Hampstead High School last term. School Dynamics also specialises in ‘real-life finance’ training, supporting the growing demand for introducing financial literacy and awareness in schools.
All School Dynamics experts also provide ‘taster’ workshops and support to schools on a volunteer basis each month.
School Dynamics founder Sharon Pink said “We are delighted to be providing our life skills programmes for Camden’s young people – our team makes these sessions interactive, entertaining and thought-provoking, with lots of opportunity for active participation, developing individual confidence levels and showcasing individual ideas and suggestions. And we often the teachers making notes of our stress-busting tips!”
